@sacramentobee: With the sun low in the sky, protesters took to the streets of Woodland on Oct. 27 to demand action against federal immigration agents. ⠀ More than 100 community members gathered outside the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office on Second Street and nearby Heritage Plaza with signs and banners displaying messages such as “ICE Out” and “Abolish ICE” before marching to the office of U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson. ⠀ The march came one week after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer appeared to use his vehicle to strike a man observing ICE operations in a Woodland neighborhood. ⠀ To read more, click the link. ⠀ 📷: Hector Amezcua ⠀ #ice #immigration #protest #woodland #california #news
