@tamipawsdallas: 🚨💔 DALLAS, TEXAS — A WOMAN. TWO DOGS. ESCAPING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. NOWHERE SAFE TO SLEEP TONIGHT. She did something incredibly brave. She left an unsafe domestic situation in Oklahoma, packed what she could, took her two beloved dogs, and came to Dallas hoping to find safety on the bus. What she didn't know was how difficult it would be to find shelter without leaving her dogs behind. 💔 The Bridge is full for pets. 💔 Dallas LIFE, Salvation Army, and Austin Street don't accommodate pets. 💔 The Family Place, with only five dog kennels, is full. She escaped one dangerous situation only to find herself on the streets of Dallas. Her dogs, whom we're calling Captain and Tenille for their safety, are her family. She's not abandoning them. ❤️ WE HAVE A PLAN. WE JUST NEED YOUR HELP. We can get this little family into a La Quinta we work with. Tomorrow, we'll help her reach Our Daily Bread in Denton, where dogs are welcome, to begin the intake process and get on the waiting list for a bed.
