this is bs imo forgiveness is choosing not to let resentment define your relationship with someone or consume you entirely like nro you cannot determine whether someone has genuinely forgiven another person simply because they bring up what happened forgiveness doesn't require amnesia nor does it mean surrendering your ability to hold someone accountable sometimes people need to be reminded of the hurt they've caused not because you haven't forgiven them but because forgiveness doesn't excuse repetition you can release resentment without releasing someone from responsibility

Hard disagree on this, although nothing you said is technically wrong. It’s all a gut feeling, if someone does you wrong and you forgive them for it they should be able to forgive the same action or something equivalent. Law of equivalent exchange.
