so... funny... I was filtering the fryer oil at work and missed a very important step and the fryer caught on fire. I was holding a bucket of water with dawn dish soap and I new dawn was used to put out oil/water fires... I dumped it in. the fireball only lasted a second or 2.... it was huge, somehow I got to keep my eyebrows and sustained no injuries and somehow the fire suppression didn't go off. anyway... everything turned out just fine and I will never miss that step again. but, for anyone interested google told me to smother the fire. on a stove or grill or over fire we use wet rags, or baking powder. fun fact sugar and flour are flammable. the more you know.
