So basically I see it as similar to the marvel universe. Each one can be enjoyed separately but for the big picture we should read all of them.

Love this! It’s not that you HAVE to read Crescent City before ACOSH, you GET to read CC before! What I wouldn’t give to read the series for the first time😩

I AGREE!!! But so many people are saying the contrary.... I feel they forget that this is a primer. like the first 5 chapters in a book.... the rest will.come

Okay so here’s my problem: I have read Acotar 1-5, but nothing else. I planned on reading TOG next, because it could be more my vibe than Acotar but I didn’t get to it yet. Should I put CC before TOG now?

I literally just listened for hours of your podcasts because I’m not ready to go over CC (just too overwhelming), I don’t even mind the spoilers honestly. I actually feel more inclined to read them after listening to the deep dive

A skin sample can become your brain cells. In this conversation, Dr. Darcie Moore breaks down one of the more remarkable tools in modern research: induced pluripotent stem cells, or iPSCs. Here's how it works. Scientists take a sample from a person — something as simple as a skin punch or a blood draw. They introduce a specific set of factors that essentially reprogram those cells. And those cells revert back to a stem cell state, one capable of becoming virtually any cell in the body. Including neurons. What makes this so powerful is the specificity. If someone carries a genetic mutation linked to Alzheimer's disease, researchers can take their cells, convert them into stem cells, and then turn those stem cells into neurons. Neurons that carry that person's exact mutation. You can now study the disease in a dish. With that person's own biology. As Dr. Moore explains, this is part of why iPSCs have become so valuable in research. Less controversy than earlier stem cell methods — and an extraordinary window into how disease actually unfolds at the cellular level.
