my service dog and me are going to work in costumes last yr we went as jack skellington and zero, this yr its prisoners, shes gonna have a sign that says 'crime: serial snack stealer' and im gonna have one that says 'mentally unstable' .3. ✌️🤣🤣🤣 she is ofc fully vax tho and microchipped :]

we lock our gates and have no lights on. My zoo gets a comfy night in with their mimi n papa while my husband and I take the kids out.

We never have trick or treaters at the house but I take my dog to Halloween events however I always make sure she’s muzzled and on leash at all times therefore no one is in danger and she stays up to date on rabies vax and is microchipped

ITS NOT WORTH IT! Just tuck the little babies away for the night. My compromise is that I sit at the end of the driveway with my neighbors since we’re so busy and we can just sit the whole time.

I have a runner so we have a double door system-the Brittany must always be behind a gate/door before another is open. What is fun though is I do dress them up and people can see them from the door but it's a few feet away so no hands can reach in to touch them etc but that way everyone can see everyone without anyone getting loose or hurt. If the gate fails somehow-they knock it down, there's enough distance that I can close the door quickly. I think having a dog that will blow you off if given the chance (and has) gives you a good deal of hyper awareness even if it's been like 8 years since anything has happened. I still do not want to try chasing an 11 year old Brittany who is by far faster than me 😫😂
