@saktoo.hq: “LA isn’t walkable.” We’ve heard it a thousand times, so we scored 120 Los Angeles neighborhoods on 5 walkability checks: street layout, things to walk to, shade and air, traffic safety, and bus and train access. The 10 most walkable neighborhoods in LA: Los Feliz, Koreatown, Westwood, Sawtelle, Fairfax, Beverly Grove, Pico-Union, Venice, Chinatown and Mar Vista. But here’s the catch: a high walkability score can still fool you. One has the best street layout we measured but not much to walk to. Another has plenty to walk to, but the air makes the walk rough. So if you’re a first-time home buyer deciding where to live in LA, don’t ask “what’s the best neighborhood?” Ask “walkable for WHAT?” 👉 Team bus, team fresh air, or team everything-nearby? Comment your team below. Save this before you start touring homes.
