@susanmileski: Day 4 on the Camino Portugués 🇵🇹🥾 Here’s something nobody tells you about long-distance travel: not every day is picture-perfect, and that’s OK! ❤️ When you’re traveling for weeks at a time, you’re still living your life. You have laundry to do, things to replace, errands to run, and plans that don’t always work out the way you expected. But sometimes those imperfect moments end up being part of the best stories you bring home. One thing I appreciate about walking the Camino is how often you experience the kindness of strangers. A little help, a friendly interaction, or finding exactly what you need when you need it can completely change your day. ❤️ And here’s a little tip for fellow pilgrims: save those small plastic containers from the grocery store! They’re perfect for carrying leftover food when you’re trying to make your meals stretch between towns. 🎒 The Camino isn’t just about beautiful scenery and reaching your destination. It’s also about learning to adapt, appreciating the small things, and not letting the unexpected ruin the experience. Some days bring sunshine and ocean views. Other days bring rain, wet laundry, and a list of errands. 😂🌧️ Both are part of the journey.
