@wizzyvip1: Good evening From #EU Empire.Newscastle.Tiktok.com The Transit Standoff (What to Expect) • The Government Injunction: The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport officially ordered the postponement or exclusion of the transport sector from this strike, aiming to keep trains, buses, and flights running normally. • The Union Defiance: The USB union has called the government's order unlawful and declared they intend to walk out anyway. • Trains: Rail services have technically been under a strike notice since 9:00 PM tonight (October 29) and it runs until 8:59 PM tomorrow. While state-run Trenitalia maintains services should run normally due to the ministry order, sporadic local cancellations or delays remain possible. • Flights: Ground services and airport staff at Pisa and Florence airports have a separate 24-hour strike scheduled, meaning flights through Tuscany are highly vulnerable to delays or cancellations. Expect potential confusion or delays at major hubs like Rome Fiumicino as well. • Local Buses & Metros: Local public transport compliance will vary significantly by city. In major hubs like Rome, transit lines face a high risk of disruption despite the official government restrictions. 🪧 Major Street Protests and Rallies • Eight Cities Impacted: High-security street protests are planned in eight major Italian hubs, including Rome, Milan, Turin, Genoa, and Naples. • Rome Rally: The main USB trade union demonstration is kicking off at 10:00 AM at Piazza dei Cinquecento. Additional anti-war rallies are also scheduled in the capital. • Surveillance and Security: Due to clashes during protests last week, security forces are deploying heavily. Expect a massive police presence, helicopters, and drones monitoring city centers, which will cause additional traffic and localized pedestrian roadblocks. for more updates follow EU Empire Tiktok.com for more News Good Evening
