I was with someone for three years and I remember him saying one day, “I am not going to stop you if you want to leave”. I was like, what? So you won’t fight for this relationship? He was like nope, if you want to leave, I won’t stop you. In one regard I could understand because you should never have to beg someone to stay, but on the other hand, if you love someone in a way where you know, like really know, they are your person, you will fight to keep them, you know? I left that day.
