Lmao 3h in London? Pfffffft!! I wish! 10+ years ago first knee sprain. No bed, no room nothing - half naked in a wheelchair for roughly 9h+ before x-rays and an additional 3h+ before anything was concluded (not including how long my ride took)

Windsor here never been in an er where I only waited 3.5 hours it’s 12 hours no matter what.

hahahahaha, i.have never been in a hospital emergency in the last 15 years that took less than 6 hours, don't they.mean to.be triaged in the first.hour where they take your.health card then you go to the first.waiting room, then 3 hours later.got to.the second waiting room, then finally another couple hours the.little bed with a blanket divider, its absolutly shameful

That’s for a regular degular visit. If you are bleeding, are having heart problems, stroke symptoms etc you are seen right away.

I know I'm comparing different province, but in Victoria BC, My last 3 times going to ER, I was in a bed in under 30 mins of walking in. Saw a Dr. within another 30 mins. Now, I was coming in with some serious heart issues, not a sprained ankle, or needing a couple stitches. Patients are treated in order of seriousness, aka triage.

Ive never waited, but I've only gone for emergencies. im in southwestern ontario, ive been for broken bones, allergic reaction and severe health issues. people need to utilize their GPs, walk-ins and urgent care; then ER times wouldn't be as bad

nearest hospital to me is 8-12 hours from both personal experience more then once and thats their average wait time.

I get SO annoyed when people say "yeah you get in faster when its emergent" like my grandma didn't die in the waiting room. Pretty sure it was emergent. (She was only 57)

My husband who had late stage colon cancer and I waited in our car, in February, for 13 hours because he was doing chemo and who knows what bug is in the fucking ER waiting room?

using your own personal wait time is not useful as triage serves most emergent first. If you waited 12 hours you likely did not need to be in the emergency room.
