@cinemaoccupy: Patrick Stewart, who died on October 28 at 86, did not know Logan would be his farewell to Charles Xavier until he watched it at the Berlin Film Festival, sitting beside Hugh Jackman. Two thirds of the way through, he found himself emotionally involved, then his character died. He noticed Jackman wipe his eye and thought that if Hugh Jackman can cry watching Logan, he could let those feelings out too. Jackman reached over and took his hand, and they watched the last five minutes holding hands. The next morning at the press conference, Stewart announced it would be his last Xavier.
