The difference between the MCU and the DCU are that DC can take leaps with lesser known characters bc the projects aren’t heavily connected to each other, like you can skip Clayface and mister miracle and still be good for when Brave and the bold releases

GOTG came out 2 years after The Avengers which was the biggest event of its time and everyone was deeply invested. If the DCU had enough out for people to care, make all the C list hero movies you want. It always should’ve been big 3, justice league, and then this stuff. People like clayface but theres people watching this not caring that its a DC movie

Okay let's say they started with the trinity first. What would you say if the movies still weren't making tons, or they were critically a mixed bag? This is the thing y'all aren't thinking about. There's no guarantee they'd be in better standing being a lazy formulaic MCU copycat. Especially coming right off the heels of the DCEU which had Superman, Batman, WW, Flash, Aquaman, etc.
