hey so i kind of didn’t decide to apply to brown ed because the binding decision for undergrad to pay 75k a year plus post grad schooling didnt seem wise — am i killing my chances to brown this way? or can i still get in and it would still be the same both rounds? What do you think is the deciding factor to getting rejected or deferred. Im trying to apply to all of my colleges as early admission believing that in worse case scenario i would have gotten deferred to regular decision for most colleges rather than rejected

the only school where im worried is UMD bc i sent my official sat score report 9 days ago and there’s a chance itll process today or tmrw but theres also it a chance itll send monday or tuesday. and umd takes the vast majority of their class during ea and will move your application to rd if everythings not there in time. its making me consider applying test optional but im proud of my score especially for umd
