The empty tomb argument has a massive gap in it. Even if you grant that the tomb was empty (which is already debated), you still have to explain why it was empty. Theft, relocation, or legend development are all simpler than “he physically rose and is God.” Jumping straight from “body missing” to “Christianity is true” skips a lot of steps

Also interesting to see that women were the first people to discover the tomb in all 4 gospels. For context a woman’s testimony was not seen as valuable in 1st CE Judea. So if the gospel writers were going to make up a story, that is a detail that would be strange to add if they wanted to make it believable.

You can’t treat the Gospels as neutral historical reports. They were written by believers, decades later, with a clear goal of convincing people. Using those same texts to “prove” the thing they were written to promote is circular. That’s not evidence-based. That’s just repeating the claim
