my best friend is a surgeon making a ton of money and wont buy a house because of me and all her other friends and family having horror stories about home repairs lol. she loves just submitting a work order abd not worrying about it

I'm 32. Renting takes the stress of maintenance etc way from me right now, I work for a company because I don't think I am the right type person to handle owning a business, and I don't have or want kids. I am living on my terms and am feeling highly creative, and most importantly, I AM HAPPY. People need to live their own lives and stop worrying about everyone else's ❤️

If I ever own a home I want it to be a condo or apartment. I don’t want to tend a garden or lawn. I’m ok with handling repairs inside but the overall tending to a whole building myself? No. And that’s ok. 🤷♀️

as a homeowner, I get it. its hard and expensive to upkeep a house. I hate it. but I will also never rent, but I understand why someone would want to sell their house and rent

I have a condo and I don’t want to do yard work or deal with snow or gutters. But I wanted to own something. On the whole, the HOA is easy to deal with. Occasionally I get annoyed with them but that is life.

The idea of owning a home stresses me out. You are responsible for any and everything that goes wrong. Plus yard work, plus snow removal, plus home taxes. Like I’m willing to pay more in rent because of those things.
