@thebrysontheosaunders: Quick notes: this is VHA Directive 1137, the VA's own rule, not mine. Massage therapy is covered under the VA medical benefits package when your care team decides it's clinically necessary, mostly for pain. You have to be enrolled in VA health care, and no rating is required to enroll. A typical course is 4 to 8 visits over 3 to 12 weeks. What's offered on site varies by VA, and if yours can't do it, it can go through community care. The exact ask is in the Military Benefits App 🇺🇸 #veterans #veteran #activeduty #militarybenifits
Actually did this. Chiro once a week for a year, they found one near me that took the VAs payments, adjustment (they were 50/50 either a good one or a bad one that messed me up) followed by a hour massage. Always tip, it’s free

I asked for a chiropractor to help with back pain since I broke my back in three places. They referred me to a local place for once a week for 12 weeks. Which gave me a 45 minute massage, 15 minute E-STIM and adjustment.

In my region, it was a one-hour session for the first time and then 30-minute sessions after that and once a month or once a week. I can’t remember. I stopped doing it because it wasn’t enough time

If you live in San Diego, your primary care provider will refer you to an eight week long pay management class and after completing that then they will give you a one time referral for eight sessions and that’s it
