I wouldn’t say it ended here but that boom period PEAKED here cuz after Mania 40 the product was still really good. But where it ENDED was at Royal Rumble 2025.

I'm sorry. Even to this day, giving Coding the title was the worst decision ever. You guys wanted him to finish the story so bad that you guys didn't even realize that after the story was done, there was nothing for him to do. Both title reigns were boring just because you guys wanted to see him on top. What do we have now? Him versus Randy, another boring match. Come on.

its heartbreaking, i watched all of 2025 because i wanted to see Cena's last year, and it broke my heart how they handled it, once he retired, i couldnt bring myself to watch it anymore, its just not the same show i fell in love with

Louie Genovese :
I still think 2024 after Mania was a great year but it more on CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s rivalry, LA Knight at the peak of his career, the Bloodline storyline culminating in a really great Wargames match and the OG Judgement Day breaking up. But everything changed following TKO. And let’s be honest it’s not like AEW is doing better right now. Pro wrestling in America is completely a wasteland.

The WM 41 card was cooking but the Cena and Cody match did not deliver at all and killed the entire weekend. Nobody talks about the triple threat from Night 1 which was so good! And Dom winning the IC Title was iconic.

I’m convinced Vince still had somewhat of a say in wrestlemania 40 there is no way HHH can book that but now can’t book anything meaningful
