@buwandiwata: This one hurt … As a trekkie who was introduced to Star Trek (specifically TNG) as a lost young woman in the pandemic when I freshly graduated from high school, Star Trek gave me hope that even in such tumultuous times, humanity can endeavor to come together and push past the cycle of dark ages we always seem to be in. This franchise is one that I hold close to my heart 💔. There’s so much to be said, the body of work he has left behind cannot be understated. He brought Shakespeare to the stars and to other universes. O Captain, my Captain … May he boldly go where no one has gone before. 🕊️🖖🏽 LLAP #startrek #startrekthenextgeneration #sirpatrickstewart #patrickstewart #jeanlucpicard

"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. But I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment because they'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, Number One, we're only mortal."

Usually, I'm not brought to tears at a celebrity's passing. But this hits different. 😭 He was one of a kind.

I was introduced to him and star trek when I was little. TNG and Picard were how I managed a very chaotic childhood.

We are sooo lucky we were raised on intelligent content like this 💯 I adored him, he represented the best of our human potential 💕

Andrew Reeves :

“What do you believe?…” “I believe there’s a hero in all of us that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride. Even though sometimes we have to be steady and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams. Spider-Man did that”
