@._jvd: #fypシ #foryoupage #makingcitiesseries #architecture #3dmodeling Here is part 2 of the French Quarter of 616 St. Peter Street of New Orleans, this is where the infamous buildings are. One is the Le Petit Théâtre Du Vieux Carré which is the building that has flags on them, ( New Orleans, Louisiana, Obby Creator, USA ) and it’s actually a small theatre which was built in 1916-1922. The other one is a famous one which is the Pontalba Buildings ( forgot to make the other one ) but it is also located in Jackson Square in the French Quarter. It is named after Baroness Pontalba, who was an businesswoman, who basically invested in estates of purchasing the land on the upriver and downriver sides of the Place d'Armes who build these in 1849-1851. And then James Gallier Sr. and Henry Howard making and designing the first major cast iron balconies. Today it has local shops, art galleries, and restaurants, and apartments. It survived many things including Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Ida.
