@alyssaw8130: Dinner is finished. You finally sit down. Then the burning starts. 🫠 If heartburn is showing up during your GLP-1 journey, what happens AFTER dinner is worth paying attention to. 🕒 Give dinner some space before bed. For nighttime reflux, finishing meals at least three hours before lying down may help. Reclining on the couch counts as lying down too. 🍽️ Look at meal size. Smaller meals may be easier on reflux than one big evening meal. Try spreading your food through the day instead of leaving most of it until bedtime. ☕ Notice your own triggers. Coffee, mint, spicy foods, and high-fat foods can worsen reflux for some people. You don’t automatically need to cut out every food on that list—look for a pattern in YOUR symptoms. These are general reflux tips, not proof that your medication caused it or a guaranteed fix. Frequent, worsening, or persistent heartburn deserves a conversation with your provider. Don’t assume every new symptom is just part of taking a GLP-1. I’m not a doctor—sharing practical, researched information to help you know what to notice and bring up. Save this for your evening routine. Is yours worse after eating or when you lie down? #GLP1Journey #GLP1Tips #Heartburn #AcidReflux #DigestiveHealth
