At Greystone Mansion & Gardens, Southern California designers have reimagined the characters and lavish costumes of HBO’s The Gilded Age as one-of-a-kind fresh floral mannequins. The Gilded Age takes place in late-1800s New York, where established old-money families clash with ambitious newcomers. The fashion, wealth, and social rivalries provide plenty of inspiration for these intricate designs! And the setting is just as special. Greystone Mansion was built in 1928, and its grand architecture and lavish interiors make a beautiful backdrop for the exhibit.
