i did this for my dinner party with a couple of my book club friends🍷📚… i thought it was hilarious but everyone else just looked at me kind of confused. i was always the odd one of the group, it’s as though everyone else was in on some unspoken plan, one i was never privy too. tonight was my first time hosting, i made the entire house halloween themed, and in the attempt to make myself feel seen by these girls, i only ended up feeling small. i always feel small. when they left i cleaned the decorations up. alone, but i was alone the whole night anyway. i had completely forgotten about this monstrosity i replicated, and when i saw it this morning i bursted out crying. i’m not sure why.
