الخِزام والمنقاش.. من تراث الأولين ما شاء الله، أبو علي من الرجال الذين يحملون الكثير من تفاصيل تراثنا الإماراتي القديم ويحافظون عليها بالممارسة والعمل باليد. في هذا الفيديو يحدثنا أبو علي عن الخِزام، وهو من ملبوسات الرجل الإماراتي قديماً، وكان يُستخدم لتثبيت الغترة أو العصابة على الرأس، ويُصنع من الصوف أو الوبر. وكانت أطراف الخِزام تُزيّن أحياناً بسلاسل فضية تتدلى منها أدوات صغيرة للاستخدام اليومي، مثل المنقاش لإزالة الشوك، والإبرة، وأحياناً المرود المستخدم للكحل. وأبو علي، ما شاء الله، لديه الكثير من الموروثات القديمة، ويجيد صناعة المخاريف وقلادة الحبال وغيرها من الأعمال التراثية التي تستحق أن نوثقها ونعرّف بها الأجيال القادمة. الله يعطيك الصحة والعافية يا أبو علي، ويحفظ تراث الأولين وأهله. Al Khizam & Al Minqash… From Our Heritage Masha’Allah, Abu Ali is one of those who continues to preserve the details of our Emirati heritage through knowledge and traditional craftsmanship. In this video, he introduces us to Al Khizam, a traditional head cord once used to secure the ghutra or head wrap. Its ends were sometimes decorated with silver chains carrying small practical tools, including the Minqash for removing thorns, a needle, and sometimes a traditional kohl applicator.
