@7newssydney: It's a historic day for Sydney, with the official completion of the city's $23 billion Metro rail line. The new stretch of track - which extends the driverless train network to another 10 stations through the city's southwest - ran its first service from Bankstown at 4.31am. #bankstown #sydney #metro #sydneymetro #transport

So when are we going to fix the Bondi to illawarq train line. There is never a day when the trains aren’t late. But yeah we build a rail that already exists

They saved 10 minutes with the new metro at a cost that will take 150 years to recover; well done.

sumonunic :

What’s the point of stripping of old line and introducing Metro?!! Instead install new line to the areas where no train !!!
