Large mass that owner never wanted to FNA because she felt it was a lipoma and couldn’t be persuaded otherwise. Dog wasn’t doing well and took a view to see if a radiograph uncovered any clues.

A good example of why the edges of a study deserve the same attention as the area of interest. Spinal radiographs for a down dog can reveal an incidental finding that changes the entire workup.

Took in this cat because the owners were being military moved to Germany. I got him straight from their vet where he was for a urethral obstruction. Took my own rads at work and my jaw dropped. Sir, your intestines do not belong in your pericardium.

We did routine X-rays on a dog once and the bladder just happened to be FULL of stones. No clinical signs at all.

My almost 4 year old basset hound when we brought him in for sporadic coughing and thinking its heart issue due to grade 1/2 HM found on exam. Lo and behold on Xrays - went to bigger vet hospital for surgery and its a 5lb chondrosarcoma of the rib cartilage, total resection and removal of 4 ribs and he is cancer free
