As if Robert and Bale aren’t two of the best Batman’s ever. Calling them solely “movie stars” is so disrespectful.

So….. I like James Gunn and what he’s done so far with the dcu despite my nitpicking of certain projects, but I don’t really agree with this comment. The only actors you can say that about is Keaton, Kilmer, and Clooney. Even then Keaton was a hated choice until they released the movies. The rest of the actors who played Batman played him out of their prime. Christian Bale literally had a director fight for him to get roles cause the studios didn’t think he was a good actor, Ben Affleck’s movies weren’t doing how they used to in the 90s. And Robert Pattinson was doing independent films before he was Batman. I do see a little of what he’s saying, most of the Batman actors have popular ip’s outside of Batman and the Superman actors typically only have Superman, but most of them were still out of there “prime” so to speak.

Christian Bale was not a "movie star" before Batman, he became a movie star because of Batman

Bro just on some nonsense. Welling, Routh and Cavill barely had lines, and Dean Cain sure as hell couldn't act 😂.
