This happened to a friend of mine during Covid, her ex fell down the trad cath pipeline and announced out of the blue they needed to get married and gave 4-6 kids and she said well first off no and second off, I’m 38. I could probably have two kids; if you want half a dozen kids you need to go marry someone in their 20s. And he genuinely could not understand the problem.
