@freedompulseus: 🇺🇸🏀 SOPHIE CUNNINGHAM TAKES A STAND: “PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN” Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham is making her views on patriotism and the national anthem controversy in the WNBA clear. During a conversation with Theo Von, Cunningham expressed pride in being an American and emphasized her respect for the men and women who serve in the U.S. military. She also highlighted the personal connection her own family has to military service. As debate continues over how WNBA players respond to performances of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Cunningham says she remains committed to showing support for veterans and active-duty service members. Her comments have brought renewed attention to a broader conversation about patriotism, personal expression, and how athletes choose to show respect for those who serve their country. 🇺🇸 People may disagree on the anthem, but respect for those who serve remains an important topic for many Americans. 💬 What do you think? Should professional athletes make a point of honoring the national anthem and military service, or should each player decide how to express their views?
