@john.de.leon599: There was a season when I watched doors close, people leave, and plans fall apart. I kept asking, “God, why are You letting me lose so much?” I couldn’t understand how I could be praying so hard and still feel like everything was slipping through my hands. But that season showed me things about myself that comfort never could. I had put too much of my identity in what I owned, who supported me, and how my life looked to other people. I wanted the blessing, but I still needed to grow into someone who could carry it with gratitude. Being humbled hurt. Starting over hurt. Admitting I didn’t have all the answers hurt. But somewhere in those quiet nights, my prayers changed. I stopped asking God to help me prove people wrong and started asking Him to help me become better. A better man. A more grateful person. Someone who could receive something good without forgetting who carried him through the bad. And little by little, restoration began. Some of what I thought I needed never came back—and I finally found peace with that. Other things returned in ways I never expected. New opportunities. Healthier relationships. The courage to dream again. But the greatest blessing was being able to wake up with peace, even before everything was figured out. When I say God gave me back everything and more, I’m talking about more than money or possessions. He gave me hope when I had given up on myself. He gave me direction when I felt lost. He gave me a heart that could appreciate the little things I used to overlook. 🤍 I still have challenges. I still have growing to do. But I hold my blessings differently now. With open hands, a grateful heart, and a deeper understanding that my worth doesn’t disappear when my circumstances change. If you’re in a humbling season, keep bringing your honest prayers to God. Take the next faithful step, even if it’s small. You don’t have to see the whole road to keep walking. One day, you may look around and realize that while you were praying to get your old life back, God was helping you build a life you could appreciate on a whole new level. Stay humble when the doors open. Stay grateful when the prayers are answered. Remember the One you called on when you had nothing. 🙌🏽 Save this for the days you need hope, and share it with someone who’s rebuilding their life. #GodsTiming #StayHumble #FaithJourney #Restoration #GodIsFaithful
