Any horse that is "chill" is probably still big and strong enough to end any human with one well placed kick. So a meek, gentle horse is exhibiting "power under control." You could also Google the phrase "meeking a horse" or "gentling a horse" This is the process of training a wild horse, but many horse trainers will tell you that they have to gentle every horse as a colt. It's not about a penchant for violence. it's just emphasizing that Jesus was not weak. He was a more powerful man than anybody would have guessed, but was gentle by choice.
