Maple Vanilla Candied Pecans Two cups of pecans, a little maple syrup, and a kitchen that smells like the holidays. These make a lovely homemade gift, provided you put your own handful aside first. Mix ¼ cup pure maple syrup, 1 tablespoon melted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Toss with 2 cups raw pecan halves. Spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 325°F for about 18–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until toasted and the coating has thickened. Let cool completely, then separate any clusters and store airtight. Some people pick out the single pecans. Some of us look for the little clusters stuck together. #ChristmasGifts #HolidaySeason
