Wow ,,, I vividly remember just one month ago I confidently commented on someone that “astra is amazing and Claude is such a disappointment after fable plus OpenAI is way more generous with usage “,, oh well I am gonna go dig myself a hole for such an embarrassing naive thought😭

yeah I think that's the final nail in the coffin. I mean let's be honest, you easily deplete codex on day 1 while Claude lasts way longer. also imo codex isn't doing such a good job compared to claude. I only keep it because of picture generation and because of the chat. the resets of the last month also spoiled me. can't even tell if I can go back to regular codex without resets.

Yeah, right just like they were gonna cut usage on pro plans in half tomorrow and they’ve just doubled it. And so how will people on free plans pay for chat? This will never happen and it’s not being reported anywhere else aside from the fact that they said they were merging them and then they backtrack on it immediately.
