Jordan gave up ownerships to play again and donated his entire salary to 911 victims. At that point Jordan was not playing for rings or trying to prove something like LeBron is today.

People need to do their research because people think Jordan came back at 38 years old to win the championship and that’s not true. Jordan joined the Washington wizards only to increase revenue ticket sales and merchandising, and when that happened, the owner of the Washington wizards was supposed to sell the majority share to Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan held up his end, but the owner backed out of the deal. Michael wasn’t trying to play elite basketball all the time it was a business decision because he was trying to become majority owner, also for a year and a half with the wizards he played with a bad knee and still play all 82 games at 40 years old. and Michael Jordan didn’t come back to a super team. He came back to one of the worst teams in the NBA Eastern conference finals the year before keep that in mind.
