when i was in the hospital there were genuinely some nurses and workers who would straight up baby talk me. some would even talk about my cancer and treatment to my mom but NEVER to me. 17 years of age btw.

It really depends tho, a lot of people treat people with autism like babies because most people with autism have a intellectual disability, I have level 1 autism with a mild intellectual disability and get treated like a baby sometimes
