I’m a UM grad school alum & I’ll just say this: saying “the NCAA wants you to forget this game” is a reach. Miami has been crucified for less. It took almost 20 years for Miami to get the football program to operate properly due to sanctions, fighting in-house, bad hires, demolishing the Orange Bowl, etc. So no, the NCAA would love you to look at the program a certain way. Just saying.

I was at that game. The bow was towards the West Endzone. Literally the exact opposite side from where the visiting section was. FIU baited Miami into a fight all game and Miami eventually gave in. Of course, everyone blamed Miami for the brawl
