I did this at grand central, fell right out of my hand through the gap right onto the 4/5 subway track. I made that same face to the person standing next to me!!😅 after the train left, looking down at my phone, the guy next to me was about to jump on the tracks and me and this woman were telling him NO! Phone is not woth your life, those 4/5 trains come every minute or two. I found an MTA guy who had a giant stick with a ball of duct tape at the end and he fished it off the tracks. not a fun way to start your morning!

“Don’t try to retrieve it yourself. Find an MTA employee to assist you”. A young lady from the Bronx jumped down and was hit by the train. She was too plump to jump back up to the platform.
