@essxnce.jpg: Bob Marley used his music to promote peace and unity during Jamaica's political violence. In December 1976, just two days after being attacked, he performed at the Smile Jamaica concert in Kingston, bringing around 80,000 people together. In 1978, he headlined the One Love Peace Concert, where he brought rival political leaders Michael Manley and Edward Seaga onstage and joined their hands in a symbolic gesture of unity. Later that year, Marley received the United Nations Medal of Peace for his efforts, showing how he used his platform to bring people together #bobmarley #rastafari #onelove #jamaica #peaceandlove
