In the case of a subsequent conviction, the offence carries a fine ranging from S$5,000 to S$20,000, and a mandatory jail term of up to 2 years. i remembered back in the day drunk driving, driving while under the influence of substances used to be punished severely, what happen to that? These days people seem to not be bothered about the law afterall you can always engage a good lawyer to fight in court, i find the law in Singapore is so lax recently, bash someone who tried to wake u up and u get minimal sentence, drove over a little kid and suddenly the news died down or there is no news at all, what is going on Singapore?
