@browneyedgurl801: China has introduced a 288-meter (945-foot) outdoor elevator at Nizhu River Grand Canyon in Xuanwei, Yunnan Province, to improve transportation for people living in the mountainous region. The facility helps schoolchildren and local residents navigate steep terrain that previously made daily travel difficult. Before the elevator and other transport facilities became available, students reportedly faced a challenging journey of around three hours to reach school from the valley. The steep cliffside route made commuting physically demanding for children and their families. Students can now combine shuttle vehicles, elevators, and cable cars to complete the journey in approximately 30 minutes, significantly reducing travel time. Local villagers can reportedly use the facilities free of charge, making access to school and other essential services easier. The new elevator operates alongside an older 268-meter elevator that opened in 2022. The project demonstrates how specialized infrastructure can improve mobility, reduce travel barriers, and support education in remote mountain communities. Sources: Xinhua DW Global Times

Well, I have a couple of thoughts one is why didn’t you just move the school that might’ve helped but you know you gotta also commend the Chinese for having innovative and creative ideas to problems they are so far advanced in so many ways and we have been lied to and the rest of the world about how China doesn’t care and doesn’t invest and doesn’t this and now we see that it’s really America who’s been really suppressing and now that Trump is in play we see human rights violations every day
