“Life changes when you change the way you look at it. If you only see the worst in things, you’ll miss the best part.” This quote hit me harder than I expected. There was a time when all I could see was everything I had lost. Every ending felt like life had been unfair. I kept asking, “Why did this happen?” “Why me?” instead of, “What is this trying to teach me?” Then I realized something. When I changed my perspective, I started noticing the things I had overlooked before: • The peace in enjoying my own company. • The joy of doing things for myself. • The people who chose to stay. • The lessons hidden beneath the pain. • The quiet moments that slowly brought me back to life. The hardest seasons can make us believe that darkness is all there is. And yes, the pain is still there. But sometimes, we’re so focused on what hurts that we fail to see the beauty that’s still around us. Perspective doesn’t erase the pain. It simply reminds us that pain was never the whole story. 🤍
