I never understood why it wasn’t talked about more. There was so much evidence with that poor girl. He teacher had tried getting her out of his classes and didn’t want interactions with her. He tried to make this not happen to my knowledge anyways

1000%. The teacher had a go fund me that raised thousands? Meanwhile there's no charges 🤔 makes zero sense to me that the narrative of the situation was she was an obsessed student but what I can't figure out, is why was she in a classroom alone with him after school hours? Why did SHE stab HIM? There's clearly more to it all than anyone will ever know but none of it checks out and all anyone wants to say is that SHE is a HE and needs mental help because of THAT. Not because they're unwell and stabbed someone, but because of the gender identification. Selena Not Afraid displayed the true corruption of how this state handles Native Americans. It has always sickened me the way people pick and choose what situation deserves an outpour of community support while shunning catastrophic events.

I was in school when her friends found out she’d been found, it was a very dark day. I think about her quite often and how horribly everyone in power failed her and so many other indigenous woman and men 💔

Seriously, there’s so many young indigenous people going missing here. Even the non indigenous kids are going missing. My friend Joey Thompson was missing then found 20 miles down stream. The people around him said he was shot, there’s no charges to this day
