@itstherespawn: Sir Patrick Stewart, best known for playing Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek and Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men, has died aged 86. The actor passed away at his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, following what his family described as a brief journey with Alzheimer's and dementia. Stewart also made a memorable contribution to gaming, voicing Emperor Uriel Septim VII in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Although the character is killed early in the game, his opening scenes introduce players to the world of Cyrodiil and its central conflict. Tributes have poured in, with Sir Ian McKellen describing Stewart as "the most respected and beloved actor of his generation", while William Shatner praised the grace and humanity he brought to his roles. #actor #gaming #games #news #rip

That is one of the most iconic intros in gaming history. The remastered version gave me goosebumps. We lost a legend. He did so many iconic roles. RIP Sir Patrick Stewart. Gone but never forgotten. Epic back catalogue of movies and roles in games like oblivion. What a legacy
