The uk has different manufacturers requirements and standards to other countries as well so a product that’s made in one county to another will not or may not have the same problems

You can tell straight away if it hasn’t put the right amount off formula in, 8oz for example should bring you to the 9oz line on the bottle if you come away and the bottles only got 7oz in clearly it’s not right. Mines done it a couple off times when the electric has gone off and it’s reset. X

I think it’s hard to beat the kettle and a plastic jug to cool the bottle down. Easy & quick as long as someone doesn’t talk to you and you loose count. Stopped formula and bottle when they were 1 year olds and just give own beaker with water and blue milk.

make all the bottles up for the day, put them in the fridge and heat them up when needed. old fashioned way and the best.

As a mom to 4 with one arm, it’s the BEST thing ever 🤣 I’m with baby number 5 now and will still be using it. I’ve always checked it and been accurate to the gram. It has different settings for different types/brand of formula. People don’t search it when they get the machine and think one setting fits all x

The only thing I’ve seen is a video of there being mold bc they was dirty and didn’t clean it out nothing to do with the machine just the fact they didn’t clean it and left water sitting in there

So long as you check prep machines regularly you will be fine I work in nurseries so they’re more needed there than at home however just keep an eye on it

I remember something like this with the Tommy tipper prep machines,turns out it was because people were using an alternative filter 🙄 more often than not it’s user error xx

I thought it was hit or miss but I’d always just check an if I didn’t think it was right just remake like when I lost track of how many scoops I’d be putting in when doing it meself for twins I’d just have to scrap that and make again also 🙊😅🙈

Everyone said the same about the prep machines but if you’re cleaning them PROPERLY and replacing the filters before they’re done for they’re fine x

I wanted to get one for my youngest but he needed to have his milk prepared a special way to have more calories per ounce, so we couldn’t. I had to batch make a pitcher (32 oz) of his milk in the morning and heat each bottle when he was hungry.
