@timtalksmoneysg: Here are three ETFs you can buy and hold forever in any portfolio in Singapore.👇 Quick reminder first: if you’re not a US citizen, US-listed ETFs like VOO or VT should be avoided if you want to build long-term wealth. Focus on tax-efficient UCITS ETFs instead, which are primarily listed in Europe. 1️⃣ Stocks: VWRA (TER 0.14%) Equities should be the growth driver of your wealth-building journey. The Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF, listed in London as VWRA, gives you over 3,700 stocks across developed and emerging markets in one fund. You’re not betting on which country does best. You just own the world. 2️⃣ Bonds: VAGU (TER 0.08%) Not the most exciting part of any portfolio, and if you’re in your 20s or 30s, there’s a good argument for not owning any yet. But one day, you will. The Vanguard Global Aggregate Bond UCITS ETF (USD-hedged), listed in London as VAGU, holds over 12,000 investment-grade government and corporate bonds from the US, Europe, Japan, the UK and more. 3️⃣ Alternatives: IGLN (TER 0.12%) For me, the go-to is gold. The iShares Physical Gold ETC, listed in London as IGLN for the USD share class, is backed by physical gold. It’s there to diversify, not to make you rich, so size it appropriately. Picking the ETFs is the simple part. Sticking with them when markets get messy, and knowing how much to put in each one, is where it gets tricky. That’s exactly what we cover in my Investing Made Simple Live course, starting 4 November. How ETFs actually work, why low-cost investing gives you the best odds of building wealth, the mindset you need to stay consistent, how to think about putting a portfolio together, and all the low-cost options available in Singapore. Just DM me the word INVEST and I’ll send you the details to sign up. #singapore #fypsg #investing #sgfinance #etfs
