WE ARE HUMAN, BUT HAVE WE EVOLVED IN CONSCIOUSNESS? Greetings, people. If I walk into the jungle and encounter a hungry lion, I know it may attack me to survive. That is the nature of a predator. But when I encounter another human being, I hope to find compassion, understanding, and a willingness to help. So when a young man takes the life of another young man, I ask myself: Where is our humanity? We belong to Kingdom Animalia. We are biological beings, but being human is more than simply belonging to the human species. It is also about how we choose to treat one another. Look at a child. We crawl, we walk, we learn, and we grow. But physical growth does not automatically mean spiritual or emotional growth. Some people grow older without growing in consciousness. They remain consumed by envy, jealousy, hatred, and revenge. They allow their lower impulses to control their actions, causing pain and destruction. The true evolution we need is an evolution of consciousness. It is the awakening of the Christ within us: the consciousness of love, compassion, forgiveness, and unity. Christ taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. To do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Imagine a world where we lived by these principles. How many lives could we save? How many families could we spare the pain of losing someone they love? We cannot call ourselves spiritually evolved while hatred governs our hearts. Awaken the Christos within you. Transcend hatred.
