As soon as he no longer had it on him he jumped with joy and energy. His tail wagged and accepted petting. Overall, a happy boy. 10/26: BAR, is not interested in pets, low handing tail, avoiding eye contact, walks well on leash. 10/27: When approaching pet was asleep on his bed, I called to him and he woke, accepted a treat then noticed there was food and began eating. Once finished he returned to his bed and accepted more treats from me, he showed a relaxed posture, no barking. Didn’t seem interested in contact but accepted treats. Playgroup Observation Pending Owner Notes 10/26: Surrendered due to behavioral concerns after five days in his adoptive home. The owner reports multiple incidents of resource guarding and aggression toward the resident dog, including two incidents on 10/24 involving a chew toy and food. Leo also reportedly attempted to bite the owner on 10/21 when they reached for a dropped leash and growled and lunged on 10/22 when the owner tried to remove a sock from his mouth. No bites were reported. Leo is described as playful, walks well on leash, and is house-trained.
