Masonry contractor here: Great wages, huge bonuses… When you travel for work you don’t have to take your own truck and haul your own camper. You take a company truck and we put you in Airbnbs. You only work OT if you want it or we really need it to stay on schedule. Also, we pay 100% of your health insurance, PTO, sick time, holiday pay, holiday parties… We OFTEN send everyone home and pay for full days because why not get paid for a day off on a whim?

• Landman: Entry-level salaries range from ~$60k to $103k annually, with median pay around $104k-$115k. Most roles only require a high school diploma, but they are heavily concentrated in oil/gas regions like Texas, Oklahoma, and North Dakota.
• Insurance Catastrophe Adjuster: Staff roles offer a stable $50k-$95k salary with benefits and employer-provided training, while independent contractor roles can earn $150k-$250k during active disaster seasons but have unpredictable deployment schedules.
• Organ Procurement Coordinator: Salaries typically align with RN pay ($65k-$132k), but most roles require an RN, paramedic, or RT license plus 1-2 years of acute care experience, not just general entry-level eligibility

Staff insurance catastrophe adjusters can make a similar salary to independents with much better benefits!

I’ve been thinking of making a YouTube series based on my reporting and data analytics skills. I think it’ll be really useful for people that are starting out in the field. I feel like that Market is deeply saturated though. I just feel like I have much more deeper experience.

Morgan procurement coordinators almost always need to be RN’s, Paramedics, or RT’s with years of experience. It’s not something you’re thumbnail says about them training you …

Not trying to be a dick but this is a “how to” Segway into an adjacent industry if you’re already in an extremely specified niche industry. This isn’t “starting over”. For example anyone with wherewithal to be a landman most definitely already grew up in a similar industry. You’re not going from working at Best Buy to making land deals 🤣 same thing as the organ thing- a burnt out server etc isn’t just getting a medical degree over night.
