@homegrownpodcast: This week we're talking all about Poisonous Plants! So in keeping with that this weeks seed from @shegrowsveg is certainly not one for the dinner table. Delphinium ‘Misty Lavender’ is a beauty, tall spires of soft, pale lavender blooms that shimmer in a summer garden and are lovely for cutting or drying. The whole plant, including the seed, is toxic, so handle it with care and keep it away from curious kids or pets. Its sowing windows are January–April or September–October, so you’re right at the tail end of the autumn window if you want to get it in now, with blooms from June through September.
