Used to put 10-30 in my Silverado , it was an 01 with the 5.3 , it called for lighter oil , but always ran better on 10w30

It’s a base oil. It’s thick it thickens but it gets rid of additives you already have in your motor oil. Just run thicker oil

I remember when my Silverado decided to produce like 10psi of oil pressure, so down went 6 quarts of T6 10w30 diesel oil and never had an issue with it

Had a bad oil leak in the valve covers of my vg33e and threw this in there with 10w40 and drove 3k miles from ca to fl, I then changed the oil like 3 months later, the oil was still thicker than a bowl of oatmeal.

my 93 5.7 Chevy has 50/50 Lucas and 10w30 can't lose it or burn it now lol
